Coach Jay Foster
Coach Jay Foster brings over 30 years of wrestling experience and 22 years of coaching to the Overtime mat. A 4th-place state finisher and All-American at Delta Junior College, he went on to wrestle at William Penn University in Iowa on a full-ride scholarship, earning NAIA All-American honors and closing his collegiate career with a 211-54 record.
Now the head wrestling coach at Roseville and Co-Head Coach at Overtime Wrestling Academy, Coach Jay Foster brings decades of high-level competition and coaching experience to every practice — building the next generation of wrestlers from the ground up.

THREE PERIODS.
ONE PHILOSOPHY.
A wrestling match is three periods. Six minutes. Every second of it counts.
There's no time to coast; not in period one, not in period three. That's the standard we build to. At Overtime Wrestling Academy, we develop wrestlers three periods deep.
We're not training wrestlers for six minutes. We're building people for the long run.
Overtime Wrestling Academy is for everybody. Every age, every background, every starting point, there's a place for you here. But we're not a drop-in gym. We're a team. We ask for the same thing we teach: show up, put in the work, and show up for each other. In return, you get more than coaching. You get a community that's in your corner, period after period, season after season.
Fundamentals, executed right, every single time.
The mental and physical grit to keep going when it's hard.
The discipline and confidence that outlast the mat — and show up everywhere else.
